Loadlink Parcel Freight Shopify App

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your installation, access to, and use of the Loadlink Parcel Freight application for Shopify (the “App”).
The App is operated by LOAD LINK AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (“Loadlink”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By installing or using the App in connection with your Shopify store, you (“Merchant”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Shopify App Scope
The App is designed to operate solely within the Shopify platform and is intended for use by Shopify merchants.
The App:
- Integrates with Shopify checkout and order workflows
- Calculates freight rates based on order data provided by Shopify
- Submits freight booking requests for confirmed Shopify orders
The App does not operate independently of Shopify and does not provide services outside a Shopify-connected store.
2. App Usage Terms
By using the App, you agree that:
- You are an authorised Shopify store owner or administrator
- You will use the App only for legitimate commercial shipping purposes
- All order, product, and shipment data supplied via Shopify is accurate and complete
- You are responsible for reviewing freight rates presented during checkout
You must not:
- Misuse or interfere with the App
- Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, or disrupt App functionality
- Use the App in violation of Shopify policies or applicable laws
Loadlink may update or modify the App to maintain Shopify compatibility, performance, or compliance.
3. Freight Rates and Shopify Orders
- Freight rates are calculated using data provided by Shopify at the time of checkout
- Rates are indicative and based on cart weight, dimensions, and delivery location
- Final freight charges may change due to carrier re-measurement, re-weighing, or delivery conditions
Loadlink is not responsible for discrepancies caused by incorrect Shopify product data or merchant configuration.
4. Payments and Fees
- The App may be offered free of charge or under a separate commercial arrangement with Loadlink
- Freight charges and carrier costs are billed separately in accordance with your Loadlink account
- The App itself does not process payments through Shopify Payments
Loadlink reserves the right to introduce App-related fees with reasonable notice where applicable.
5. Shopify Platform Dependency
The App relies on Shopify systems and APIs.
Loadlink is not responsible for:
- Shopify platform outages
- API limitations or changes imposed by Shopify
- Checkout behaviour controlled by Shopify
You acknowledge that continued App functionality depends on Shopify platform availability.
6. Availability and Support
- The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis
- Continuous availability is not guaranteed
- Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via published Loadlink support channels
Planned maintenance or Shopify updates may temporarily affect the App.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Loadlink is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- Loadlink is not liable for loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity
- Loadlink is not liable for carrier delays, failed deliveries, or third-party acts
Loadlink total aggregate liability arising from the App is limited to:
- Fees paid by you for App use in the preceding 12 months, or
- Zero, where the App is provided free of charge
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Loadlink against claims or losses arising from:
- Your Shopify store configuration
- Incorrect shipment or order data
- Breach of these Terms or Shopify policies
- Breach of applicable laws or carrier requirements
9. Termination and Uninstall
These Terms apply until terminated.
- You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store
- Loadlink may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached
Upon uninstall:
- App access is revoked
- Outstanding freight charges remain payable
- Shipment history may be retained for operational and legal purposes
10. Privacy and Data Use
Use of the App is subject to the Loadlink Parcel Freight Shopify App Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
Loadlink may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be reflected by an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
