# Supported platforms and requirements

Loadlink is a web-based platform that works across modern browsers and is compatible with selected eCommerce systems for Parcel Freight integration. This article outlines the minimum technical requirements and supported platforms for using Loadlink and its related features.

### **Web Access (All Users)**

Loadlink is fully accessible via browser and does not require installation for core functionality.

**Supported browsers:**

- Google Chrome (latest two versions)
- Microsoft Edge (latest two versions)
- Safari (macOS only, latest version)
- Firefox (latest two versions)

**Device compatibility:**

- Desktop and laptop computers (recommended)
- Tablets (iPadOS, Android)
- Mobile phones (responsive layout supported)

### **Parcel Freight Platform Support**

Parcel Freight integrates with selected eCommerce platforms. A plugin or app is required for full functionality.

**Supported platforms:**

- WooCommerce (WordPress 5.8 or higher)
- Shopify (Basic plan or above)

**Technical requirements for Parcel Freight:**

- WooCommerce: PHP 7.4 or higher, HTTPS enabled, REST API access
- Shopify: Public or development store, carrier-calculated shipping enabled (may require plan upgrade)

**Note:** Checkout testing tools are recommended during setup to confirm rate calculations are working as expected.

### **Loadlink Connect Access**

Loadlink Connect is accessible via any supported browser. No plugins or apps are required.

**Requirements:**

- Active Loadlink account (Shipper or Carrier role)
- Reliable internet connection
- Email access for notifications and carrier contact

### **Email and Communication**

Users must have a valid email address to:

- Receive quote requests or responses
- Get system notifications
- Reset account credentials

Free email services (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) are supported, but business domains are recommended for Carrier accounts.
