# Supported Freight Types and Limits

Parcel Freight is designed to handle small to medium-sized freight that fits within defined weight and size limits. This article outlines what types of freight can be shipped using Parcel Freight and the restrictions that apply.

### **What You Can Send**

Parcel Freight supports general freight that is boxed, wrapped, or palletised. The system is optimised for packaged items that can be transported safely without special handling.

**Common supported freight includes:**

- Cartons and packages
- Satchels and small parcels
- Packaged products in boxes or bags
- Small palletised freight
- Retail goods
- Commercial consignments that meet standard size limits

All items must be securely packed and clearly labelled prior to collection.

### **Freight Limits**

**Maximum parcel size (per item):**

- Weight: 32 kg
- Length: 180 cm
- Girth: 300 cm

*Girth is calculated as: (2 × Height) + (2 × Width) + Length*

**Maximum pallet size:**

- Weight: 1,000 kg
- Standard pallet dimensions: 120 cm × 120 cm × 180 cm
- Must be forklift-accessible from all sides

Items exceeding these limits cannot be processed through Parcel Freight. For oversized, irregular, or heavy freight, use Loadlink Connect instead.

### **Packaging Requirements**

To ensure successful collection and delivery, all freight must:

- Be securely packaged and sealed
- Have a printed label attached in a visible position
- Be stackable and stable (if palletised)
- Be suitable for forklift loading (where applicable)

Carriers may reject freight that is poorly packaged, hazardous, or outside supported dimensions.

### **What Is Not Accepted**

Parcel Freight does not support:

- Dangerous goods
- Live animals
- Perishable items
- Unpackaged or loose items
- Freight requiring refrigeration, tail-lift, or special equipment
- Items over specified weight or size limits

Shipments that fall outside of these guidelines should be listed using Loadlink Connect, where carriers can review and quote based on custom handling needs.
