# Receiving and Responding to Carrier Quotes

After posting a load through Loadlink Connect, verified Carriers can view your listing and respond directly with quotes. This article explains how the quoting process works and what to expect when Carriers reach out.

### **How Carriers Respond to Your Listing**

Once your load is listed:

- Verified Carriers browsing the marketplace can view your load details
- If interested, they will contact you directly via the contact information you provided
- Quotes may come by phone or email depending on the Carrier’s preference

There is no messaging system inside the platform. Communication happens directly between Shipper and Carrier.

### **What You’ll Receive**

When a Carrier reaches out, they may provide:

- A price quote for the job
- Available pickup times
- Vehicle type and load capacity
- Questions about load dimensions or access conditions

You’ll receive notifications for any interest, but actual quotes and discussion take place via your listed phone or email.

### **How to Compare Quotes**

You may hear from multiple Carriers for a single listing. To compare:

- Review availability and transit time
- Confirm the vehicle type suits the load
- Assess whether handling requirements can be met
- Confirm total cost and any included extras (e.g. insurance, loading assistance)

The Loadlink platform does not manage payments. You and the Carrier finalise all terms directly.

### **Selecting a Carrier**

Once you’ve selected a Carrier:

- Confirm the booking terms over the phone or email
- Mark the job as completed or close the listing in your dashboard
- Communicate clearly to avoid double bookings

There is no obligation to accept any quote, and you’re free to choose the Carrier that best suits your requirements.

### **Carrier Verification**

Only verified Carriers can access and quote on listed loads. Loadlink reviews Carrier documentation (e.g. ABN, insurance) before approving accounts, helping ensure a reliable experience.
