# Account Setup Overview

Loadlink provides access to two services: **Parcel Freight** and **Loadlink Connect**. Each service has a different account setup process depending on how you intend to use the platform.

### **Parcel Freight Account Access**

Parcel Freight is available to all users and can be used without a trade account. This option is suitable for casual or infrequent shipping where bookings are paid per job.

For businesses that ship regularly, Loadlink offers a **Parcel Freight trade account**. A trade account allows approved customers to place frequent bookings and pay on account rather than per shipment.

**Parcel Freight access options:**

- Casual use with standard payment at time of booking
- Trade account for regular bookings with 7, 14, or 30 day payment terms (approval required)

**Trade account application process:**

1. Submit the application form at [https://parcelfreight.loadlinkconnect.com.au/trade-application](https://parcelfreight.loadlinkconnect.com.au/trade-application)
2. Provide business and contact details, including ABN
3. Outline expected shipping volume and frequency
4. Wait for approval confirmation via email

A trade account is not required to use Parcel Freight, but it is required for businesses seeking ongoing commercial terms and account-based billing.

### **Loadlink Connect Account Setup**

Loadlink Connect is free to register and use for both shippers and carriers, with usage limits applied to free accounts.

**Registration steps:**

1. Register at [https://portal.loadlinkconnect.com.au/register/](https://portal.loadlinkconnect.com.au/register/)
2. Select your account type (Shipper or Carrier)
3. Enter contact details and create login credentials
4. Confirm your email address to access the platform

**Shipper accounts** can post loads and receive enquiries at no cost.

**Carrier accounts** can view and respond to loads with limited access on the free plan. Carriers may upgrade to a **Premium account** to unlock additional features, including expanded access to loads and shippers.

Carrier accounts are subject to verification before full access is granted.

### **Using Both Services**

Parcel Freight and Loadlink Connect operate as separate systems with their own dashboards and login details. Users may register for one or both services depending on their freight requirements.

Parcel Freight is typically used for standardised, smaller shipments and store integrations. Loadlink Connect is intended for larger, specialised, or non-standard freight requiring direct carrier engagement.
